Joan Stinnett passed away Thursday, November 10 at Kansas City Hospice. Joan, 84, was born January 29, 1932 in Waverly, Missouri to Earl and Ivy Hubbard. Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Richard Stanley Stinnett and was survived in death by her three sons, Brett (wife Jennipher and daughters Grace and Amanda), Cort (wife Meg, daughter Nicole, son Ryan), and Duke.
Joan worked for more than 60 years in the automotive industry in and around the Kansas City Area. Starting as office assistant for Greenlease Cadillac to owner of Dick Stinnett Chevrolet and Oldsmobile to most recently as office manager for Bob Smith Motors.
The visitation will be held at Johnson County Funeral Chapel 1200 Metcalf Ave, Wednesday November 16 from 1:00 to 3:00.
