John Robert Eason of Prairie Village, KS, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at Children?s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, from heart failure after complications of surgery for congenital heart disease.
John was a lively, happy child who enjoyed reading stories, watching or playing with Thomas the Train?, and joining in whatever his brother or sister happened to be doing at the time. In his two years of life he spread much happiness.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 13, at Atonement Lutheran Church, 9948 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS, with private burial in Hewitt Cemetery of Jasper County, IA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 12, at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf in Overland Park.
John was preceded in death by an infant sister, Elizabeth. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Sarah Eason, a sister, Caroline, and a brother, Blake, all of Prairie Village, KS; by his grandparents, Robert and Marilyn Howell of Leawood, KS, Kathy Eason of Newton, IA, and John and Ginny Eason of Woodward, IA; and by a loving nanny, Grace Stanley of Overland Park, KS.
