John King

John Robert "Bobby" King, 76, of Kansas City, MO died quietly at his group home Sunday January 14, 2018. He was born in Dallas, TX., on November 18, 1941.

He was the only child of John "Dusty" and Elizabeth King. He lived in Mission, KS in his childhood home until 1992 when he then moved to the Community of the Good Shepherd (now Preferred Family Healthcare).  Bobby grew a new family while at CGS and was involved in golfing, traveling and Venture Crew. He was a VIP season ticket holder to his most beloved team The Chiefs from 1963 to 2014.

A funeral mass will be at 10 am Friday, January 19th at St John Francis Regis Parish, 8941 James A Reed Road, Kansas City, MO a visitation will be held an hour prior. Reception to follow at 12 noon at the Adult Day Program, 7710 E. 102nd St. Kansas City, MO. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa KS.
