Mr. John Mackenzie

John Robert Mackenzie Sr. was born September 1932, in Manhasset, N.Y., to John Henry and Regina (Mahony) Mackenzie. Bob was a graduate of Haverford University in Pennsylvania. He served his country as both a Marine and Naval Seaman, and was a veteran of the Korean War. Bob continued his passionate service to the community, in business, with 47 years as a mentor and financial advisor continually committed to his clients. An avid outdoorsman and wildlife conservator, he reveled in hunting, flying and golf. Bob instilled a legacy of principles that will serve to guide his family and all those close to his heart. This gift will be carried forth by his wife Suzanne; his children John, Susan, Thomas, Rebecca, Brooke, and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 10, 10:30 a.m., at the Village Presbyterian Church, followed by a celebration of his life at Indian Hills Country Club.
