John Anthony Randazzo 1917 ~ 2007

John Anthony Randazzo, 90, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Overland Park, Kansas on October 7, 2007.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sally Randazzo. The couple had plans to celebrate their 90th birthdays this week. Many family members were due to arrive in town for the celebration. John served as a motion picture cameraman in the Signal Corp during World War II. He worked as a photographer for TWA for eight years before opening his own studio, Randazzo & Morrison, in downtown Kansas City. He retired in 1984.

John was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jasper and Tony Randazzo, and many lifelong friends. He is survived by his three children, Patti DeLano of Venice, FL., John Allan Randazzo and his wife Sydney of Mill Valley, CA., and Nancy Caviar and her husband Jeff Kolkin of Overland Park, KS. He had six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, John Anthony Randazzo, Tom Caviar, Anthony Randazzo and wife Irena and their two sons Lucas and Zach, Michael Caviar, Christopher DeLano and his wife Stacey and their daughter Molly, and Sara Randazzo, all of whom he loved very, very much. He is also survived by his sister Frances Price of Littleton, CO., his brother Frank Randazzo and his wife Loahna of Kansas City, MO., and his sister-in-law Carmelina Smith of Gladstone, MO.

John/Daddy/ Papa loved simple things like watching the golf channel and playing cards. But most of all he loved spending time with his family. We will all miss him so very much. No services are planned. The family welcomes cards and letters.
