Jonathan Kirkendall

Jonathan David Kirkendall, 53, of Madison, WI, passed away on February 28, 2018.

David was born on October 20, 1964 in Chicago, IL. He was the youngest son of Robert K. Kirkendall and Gail Rose Maiden. He completed high school at Shawnee Mission South and then graduated from the University of Kansas Business School in Lawrence. He was a life-long resident of Wisconsin where he found considerable success in sales in the plastics industry. He worked for General Polymers for 17 years and was awarded National Salesman of the Year twice.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Kirkendall of Overland Park, KS.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Robert K. Kirkendall and Gail Rose Kirkendall.

A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM, service 2 PM, on Saturday, March 10, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Entombment will follow in the indoor mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wisconsin Athletics Development, with checks made payable to UW-F, memo “In Memory of Jonathan David Kirkendall-Men’s Hockey Fund”, 1440 Monroe St., Madison, WI 53711.
