Mr. Joseph Alonge

Joseph Alonge, 92, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 27 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 8311 W. 93rd St. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS.
Joe was a retired pharmacist. His most recent job was in Crown Center. He was also a WWII Army veteran, where he served in the 32nd Division and was a current member of the American Legion.
Joe was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Alonge.
Survivors include his son, Phil (Sandra) Ross; daughter, Phyllis (Melvin) Larimore; stepsons, Bill (Laura) Sullivan and Rob Sullivan; stepdaughter, Cathy (Bill) Nees; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the “family” at The Atriums.
