JOSEPH DEAN GALLOWAY
Joseph Dean Galloway, 83, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away peacefully on February 27, 2011. Dean was born on April 12, 1927, in Lincoln, Neb. He served in the Navy in WWII and attended the University of Nebraska. He was married to Jeanice Swanson in 1950. The family lived in Red Oak, Iowa, until moving to Overland Park in 1965. He retired from Ash Grove Cement Company in 1986. He is survived by his wife, three children, Karen (Tym) Seay, Linda Galloway, and Bill (Kathleen) Galloway and eight grandchildren. In accordance with his wishes a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cross Points Church, 6824 Lackman Rd., Shawnee, KS 66217 or to a favorite charity of your choice.
