Judith Kay Casaert, 60, Lenexa, Kansas passed away August 28, 2014.
Judy was born January 26, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to Harry & Dorothy Louise Casaert. Judy grew up in Overland Park and graduated from Shawnee Mission West in 1972 where she excelled in tennis. She graduated from Kansas State University and remained a lifetime fan of all things K-State! Judy loved cats, baseball, fishing, music, and movies.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her father and her brother, John, and his wife, Susan, her beloved nieces, Kaitlynn and Laura, and many other family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:00 PM with a memorial service to immediately follow at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 5, 2014 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kansas 66210. Inurnment will take place in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in Judy’s name be made to Great Plains SPCA, Attn: Development, 5428 Antioch Dr., Merriam, Kansas 66202 or you may also donate online at www.greatplainsspca.org.
