Judith Gliesman

Judith "Judy" Gliesman, 73, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away November 25, 2014, at Grace of Leawood. Judy was born February 23, 1941, in Queens, New York. She moved to Overland Park, Kansas in 1972 with her husband and two young sons. Judy made many life-long friends through neighbors and the Lenexa Lions/ Lioness Club. She continued to make many more friends as a Mary Kay consultant, which she had enjoyed doing since the mid 1990's. Judy was a wonderful wife and loving mother. She devoted much of her time to caring for her five grandchildren and became a great grandmother earlier this year. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Peggy Broughton, and her sister, Peggy Scandul. She is survived by two sisters, Betty Senatore and Mary Olm, her husband, Bob Gliesman, and two sons, Rob and Shawn Gliesman. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 1 at St. Michael the Archangel, 14251 Nall Ave., Leawood, KS. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa, KS. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas. Rosary will be at 5:45 p.m.
