Mrs. Judith Sherrer

June 25, 1942 — March 31, 2010

Judith K. Sherrer, 67, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 9 at 10:30 a.m. at the Old Mission United Methodist Church, 5519 State Park Rd., Fairway, KS. A reception at the church will follow the memorial service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Judith K. Sherrer Scholarship, Emporia State University Foundation, 1500 Highland, Emporia, KS 66801.
Judy was born on June 25, 1942 in Moline, KS. She graduated from El Dorado High School and Emporia State University. She taught physical education and was an ESL para professional. She served on the Board of Kaw Valley Council of Girl Scouts.
She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Judy was preceded in death by her father Albert Waller and brother Larry Waller. She is survived by her mother Ruth Waller, her husband of 44 years former Lt. Governor Gary Sherrer, son Stuart Sherrer, daughter Nancy Beaton, son-in-law Jeff Beaton, granddaughter Anna Beaton, nieces and nephews and an aunt Gladys Ingle.
