Julia M York

On August 11, 2024, the world bid farewell to a beloved soul, Julia M York, who passed away in Kansas City. Born on April 9, 1933, Julia lived a life defined by compassion and devotion to her family. She was a caring individual whose kindness touched the lives of all who the privilege of knowing her. Julia's career was centered around caring for her family, a role she fulfilled with unwavering and dedication. Julia's warm personality, characterized by her gentle nature and loving demeanor, earned her a special place in the hearts of many. In her leisure time, Julia found solace in writing poetry, reading the bible and making memories with her loved ones. 

Julia's memory will forever be cherished by her living family and friends: Sister Karen Halverhout, Son Bruce E Maag (Denise), daughter Sally L Neal (Chuck), and daughter Kathy Warring. She also leave behind four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie R Maag, and her son, Steven R Maag  and her parents, Raymond and Viola York.

Julia M York's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love that she so generously shared in her lifetime.

Julia's private graveside service will take place Saturday, August 17th at Johnson County memorial gardens.
