Julie Ellen Moritz, 59, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 2-4 P.M. at D. W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS.
Julie was born April 8, 1949 to B.J. and Betty Bowen in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Raytown High School then went on to graduate from Research with a Nursing Degree. Her passions were gardening, interior design and most of all her dog, Madison. She loved to travel to Jamaica where she married her husband, Art.
She is survived by her husband, Art of the home; daughter, Joell Reed and her fianc?, Joe Luke of Kingsville; son, Jason Rollins and his wife, Carla of Independence, MO; sister, Jill Lukens and her husband, Charlie of Kingsville; father-in-law, Al Moritz and aunts, uncles, cousins and several very close friends and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents and middle sister, Jennifer Jo Brown.
