Julie Peterson

On the day of our Lord 31, August 2021, God called his faithful daughter Julie Ann Peterson, home.

Born at the Florence Crittenton Home in Kansas City, MO on October 4th, 1969, Julie was received with open arms by her thrilled and loving parents R. Lloyd and Wilma Peterson to their home in Overland Park KS.

Growing up Julie loved gymnastics.  In her youth she was a talented tumbler and had the opportunity to coach gymnastics as a young adult.

She was a 1988 graduate of Shawnee Mission South High School and received a degree from Johnson County Community College in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies.

Julie was a proud and loving mother to her son Connor and her daughter Kailey.  She loved spending time with her grandson and her niece and nephews.

She was very involved in the family business and spent most of her adult life working at the family’s shop.  She was an excellent saleswoman and enjoyed interacting with the customers.

Julie is survived by her parents R. Lloyd and Wilma Peterson of Overland Park. Her children, Connor (Brandy) Peterson of Olathe, KS., Kailey (Rustin) McDonald of Overland Park, KS. Her sister, Jill (Thomas) Morsbach of Plattsburg, MO., her grandson Liam Peterson, and her niece and nephews Ashley, Hunter, Zane, and Maverick Morsbach.
