KAREN RENE WORTH
Karen R. Worth, age 62, of Olathe Kansas, passed away Monday, November 8th, at St. Joseph Hospital after a five month battle with cancer. Karen was dearly loved by all
who knew her and ever saw her beautiful smile. Karen was born February 21,
1948 in Kansas City, Kansas. Karen was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of
Avila University. Karen is a member of the United Methodist Church of the
Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. Karen is survived by Rollin (Ron) Worth, husband;
Daniel and Elaine Worth, stepchildren; Vernon Green, father and Christine Green,
stepmother; Linda Sturke, stepsister and her husband Cecil; Cheryl Hunsaker,
stepsister and her husband Carl; Edwina Thoeny, stepsister and her husband Mark.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Joan P. Sellers and her stepfather, Edwin
C. Sellers. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Saturday, November 20th at The United
Methodist Church of The Resurrection in the Wesley Covenant Chapel, 13720 Roe
Ave., Leawood, KS 66224 (913.897.0120). A service celebrating Karen's life will
immediately follow at 11 AM. Friends and family may join the procession to D.W.
