Keith Edward Smith, 65, Overland Park, passed away Wednesday, July 18 at Kansas City Hospice House due to complications from cancer.
Keith was a past President of Lenexa Lions Club, former Volunteer Lenexa Firefighter, and a former Little League Coach.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Roger Smith and wife Molly, Brian Smith and wife Jane Gillogly; a daughter, Meredith Keller and husband Derek; 6 grandchildren, all of Overland Park, KS; brother, David Smith and Deanna Kenny of Joplin, MO.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21st at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, July 20th. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall, Kansas City, MO 64114.
