It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth L. Morrow announces his passing on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 95 years of age. Ken was born February 24, 1923 in New Castle, PA to Mont and Nancy Jones Morrow.
During WWII Sergeant Morrow served as Chief Communications Officer in the Army Air Corps. He flew campaigns over Rome-Arno, Normandy, Northern and Southern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. He received numerous decorations and citations including the European African Middle Eastern service medal with seven bronze stars. In his private life he was committed to his family, friends, church and community. He also devoted many years to the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association as Board Chairman. After nearly 60 years Ken retired from Shenango China as Managing Director.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Jackson Myers Morrow, daughters, Elizabeth (Phillip) Peck, Arlene (John) Pezzone, Jennifer (Rex) Hudler; grandchildren, Bryan, Eric & Todd Peck; Matthew Pezzone; Alyssa, Cade, William and David Hudler; Teena and Jonathon Myers; and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Myers, and granddaughter, Stephanie Pezzone Brady.
A private family service was held in Overland Park, KS. A memorial to be held in Newark, OH will be announced at a later date.
