Kenneth Waller

Kenneth W. Waller, 81 of Stilwell, KS, passed away on March 1, 2011 at Golden Living Center, Independence, MO. A visitation will be on Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Donations may be made to Cross Roads Hospice or Alzheimer’s Association.
Kenneth was born October 23, 1929 in Lincoln, Arkansas to George and Bertha Waller. He was a self employed carpenter for more than 45 years retiring in 2004. He was a member of Carpenter’s Local Union #61 and VFW Post #846 and also a member of Central Auto Racing Boosters. He served in the Korean War 1951 to 1953.
He is survived by his wife JoAnn of 57 years; two sons, Eddie (Robbie) Waller, Gary (April) Waller; five grandchildren, John Waller, Keriana Correll, Sean Waller, Bill O’Bryan, and Krystal Coon; nine great grandchildren; four sisters, Treasel Lee Speck, Pauline Reed, Marie Jones and Anna Kleinpeter. He is survived by many other family members and friends and a true and loyal friend, Bob Pierce. Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Engle; one brother, Alvin; five sisters; Viola, Georgia, Lola, Gladys and Marilla and one great grandson, Alexzander.
