Mr. Ken Savage was born in Chicago, IL on May 7th, 1954, and he passed December 15th, 2024. He was proceeded in death by his mother and father Thomas and Corine Savage, sister Deloria Robinson, and brother Thomas Savage.
He graduated Calumet High School. He was a graduate of The University of Illinois and graduated with a bachelor’s in business. Ken’s career started in Marketing at IBM and then elevated to the executive level in sales. After more than 25 years he retired from his role at IBM and began a new opportunity with his wife Cassandra. In 2001 they relocated to the state of Kansas and opened their first McDonalds’ restaurant. They grew that business to nine locations and supported over 500 employees. In September 2023, they retired from the McDonald’s business and started traveling the world.
Ken Savage was a member of Overland Park Church of Christ for twenty-three years. He served on the deacon board and worked as a valet. He served on the board of CFS (Christian Family Services) and various other boards.
He is survived by his wife Cassandra Savage, his son Kenneth Savage, and daughters Tiffany and Brianna Savage, Three granddaughters, Sincere, Tru, and Serene. And one grandson Zabrian. And a sister in-law Vergie Savage. He leaves to cherish a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
