Kimberly Ann (Deatherage) Sommerville, 50, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Sept. 27, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.  Kimberly Ann was born to Delbert and Wilma Deatherage on April 24, 1967 in St. Joseph, MO.  She graduated from Savannah High School, UMKC, and went to graduate school at Baker University. She married Jerry Sommerville on June 21, 1997. They have two sons, Devin and Dylan, and step-daughter Kelsey and grandson Daxton.  They built their home and raised their two children in Overland Park, where she was devoted wife, mother and friend.  She was always the boys’ number one sports fan, on and off the field.   Kim worked as an IT Project Manager for 18 years at Sprint in Overland Park, KS. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Wilma (Wade) Deatherage; and her grandparents.

Kim is survived by her husband Jerry; sons, Devin and Dylan; step-daughter, Kelsey; grandson, Daxton; sister, Cheryl Knapp (Tim); brothers, Colin (Helen) Deatherage, Gary (Nancy) Deatherage, Daryl (Brenda) Deatherage, Galen Deatherage; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3 from 6-8pm at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 4 at 11AM, also at Johnson County Funeral Chapel. Burial at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 9501 159th St, Overland Park, KS 66221. There will be a reception following the services at Coach's Bar and Grill, 9089 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS 66221.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania, Kansas City, MO 64105.
