Kurtis Jay Davis, age 50, passed away at home in Mission, Kansas on Monday, November 10, 2008. A celebration of Kurt’s life will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 14th at First Lutheran Church, 6400 State Line Road, Mission Hills, Kansas.
Kurt was born July 28, 1958 in Pittsburg, Kansas and lived in the Shawnee Mission area most of his life. He attended Shawnee Mission South High School and Pittsburg State University. Kurt owned and operated Coatings Management Systems for 25 years. He was a devoted family man, a passionate musician, and was always ready to help a friend in need.
He is survived by his wife Laurie; children, Nicolaus, Alexandria, and Thomas; his father, George; and two brothers, Roger and Richard. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces, nephew, aunts, and many many friends and other family members.
