L. Shelton Bilger, age 65, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. He was born on November 16, 1945 in KC, MO, the son of Marjorie L. (Shelton) and Orville H. Bilger, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Ginny; son, Tyson Wimer; sister, Judy (Rodger); two granddaughters and one niece and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Shelton’s life will be held from 1:00-3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 14, 2011 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to KC Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd, KC, MO 64145 or to The American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO 64105
