Larry Fetherman

Larry S. Fetherman, 83, of Leawood Kansas, went to heaven on Thursday, October 8, 2020.  He was a retired general manager of AT&T.

Larry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He was always involved in his children’s, grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s lives.  He was an avid sports enthusiast and particularly loved and followed the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs.  He loved to golf, bowl and play volleyball.

Born April 22, 1937 in Asbury, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Harold and Mildred Fetherman.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Fetherman.  His children, David (Selena) of Newburgh, Indiana, Debra (James) Blanton of Paola, Kansas and Donald (Cynthia) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. His grandchildren, Megan, Michele, Kathryn, Steven, Jessica, Tyler, Emma, Joshua and Luke.  His great grandchildren Layla, Evelyn, Claire, Hunter, Olivia, Madalyn, Davis, Ellie, Payton, Cohen, Cooper, Parker, Roxanne, Aubrey, Maverick, Huck and Bodie.

Viewing and visitation will be held at 5 – 7 PM on Tuesday, October 13th at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66210. The celebration of life will occur at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14th at Hope Chapel 12480 S. Black Bob Road, Olathe, KS.
