Leah Murphy, beloved wife for over 50 years to the late Lawrence Murphy, entered Heaven on May 23rd at the age of 91.
Leah was born November 4, 1924 in South Dakota, for the past 7 years Leah resided in Sun City, Indio. Prior to there, she lived in Leawood, Kansas.
She is survived by three sisters, and one brother: Violet Schmidt 'Lessard', Delores (Tony) Marino, Esther Aman and Christian (Judy) Herman. Leah was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.
While in Kansas, Leah worked at the Broadway Ford Company, until retirement. She had a passion for playing golf with her husband and dear friends such as Pat and Rosemary Clifford. As her friends and family will attest Leah loved to shop, she was very creative with painting and decorating. Leah was the life of the party at whatever event she attended. In her later years, Leah enjoyed the constant and loving companion of Jacque, her bijon dog, he brought endearing love and happiness to her life.
Leah will be sorely missed by all of her Family and Friends, she was a Blessing in all the life's she touched.
