Mr. Lee H. MacDowell

Lee H. MacDowell, age 89, of Olathe transferred to his heavenly home on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. He was born on June 22, 1921, in Fort Dodge, IA, the son of Emma Amatoinite (Dittmar) and Harold Roscoe MacDowell. Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Chris MacDowell, who joined Jesus on January 4, 2011. Survivors include 3 sons, a daughter, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A celebration of Lee’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 13901 Blackbob Road, Olathe. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to any veterans’ organization of the donor’s choice.
