Leona Tannahill

Leona Anna Tannahill, 99, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away on August 10, 2018 at home with family by her side. A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, service 11 AM, on Wednesday, August 15, at Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. Entombment will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.

Leona was born on August 31, 1918 in Stuttgart, KS, to John and Margaret Vogel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland; parents, John and Margaret Vogel; brothers, Richard Vogel, Howard Vogel, Edgar Vogel, John Vogel, and Edwin Vogel; sisters, Edna Veeh, Lula Evans, and Margaret Mart.

Leona is survived by her sons, Larry (Judi) Tannahill of Albany, CA, Donald Tannahill of Beatrice, NE, and Dale (Janice) Tannahill of Southlake, TX; six grandchildren, Kevin, Donny, Craig, Kerrie, Kristina, and Lori; and ten great-grandchildren.
