LESLIE T. IZARD, JR.
Les Izard, 89, of Lenexa, KS, a World Ward II Veteran, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Delmar Gardens in Overland Park, KS.
He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Aleene Izard and four children, Rick Izard and his wife Linda of Wellington, New Zealand, Bob Izard and his wife Terri of Mission, KS, Deborah Izard of Lenexa, KS, and Donna Spradley and her husband Ron of St. Louis, MO and five grandsons, Kyle Izard, Kevin Izard and his wife Andrea, Kollin Izard, Tom Cook and Jim Cook.
Funeral services will be held at Valley View United Methodist Church, 8412 W. 95th St., Overland Park, KS 66212, on Thursday, August 26th. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am with services following at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Haven, 9800 W. 67th St., Merriam, KS, 66203.
