Liesel B. Madd, 85, of Overland Park, KS passed away January 17, 2009. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 21 at 1:00 P.M. at Faith Lutheran Church, 4805 W. 67th St., Prairie Village, KS 66208. Liesel was born December 3, 1923 in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. She came to the United States in 1948 as a war bride and settled in the Kansas City area with her husband Frank who passed away in 1987. She became a U.S. citizen in 1950. Liesel worked for many years as an office manager at International Marketing Corporation and Cooley Sales. She was an active member of the L Cosmo League and enjoyed mentoring young women at the Crittendon Home. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her son, Ron and his wife, Michelle and her dear friend, Tony Urkevich. Fond memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.johnsoncountychapel.com.
