Linda Brown

Linda Taylor, 70, of Overland Park, KS, died February 27. Linda was born November 29, 1949 in Monett, MO to Ray S. Taylor and Phyllis (Johnson) Savner. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by sons Matthew (Carla) Brown, and Michael (Denise Honda) Brown, daughter Kristene (Daniel) Hampton, and her sister Mary White, and brother Robert (Laura) Taylor.  She is also survived by her great granddaughters, Haley Brown, Hannah Brown, Claire Brown.

She retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City in 2013. She was a graduate of the University of Missouri – Kansas City and was an award-winning photographer who was recognized locally for her street photography work. She traveled extensively in retirement visiting Cuba, Paris, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, Prague and Germany.  She was a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital, and loved her dog Jake.
