Linda L'Heureux, 56, of Prairie Village, earned her angel wings on Sunday, June 9th 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda's passions included her family, children, animals, and caring for others.
Linda was born on December 27, 1956. She grew up in the Kansas City area where she married her high school sweetheart, Gary. Together they shared 36 years of marriage. Linda was a devoted wife and mother that lived for her children and grandchildren. She was a childcare provider that touched the lives of many families throughout the years.
Linda is preceded by her mother, Ava VanHoose; father-in-law, LaVern L'Heureux, brothers; Kenneth Clark, Jimmy Clark, and John Clark.
Linda is survived by her husband, Gary; son Brandon (Tasha); daughter Aimee (Ryan); grandchildren; Mason, Ella, and twins; Brooklyn and Carter (due in July); pets; Ace and Kiki, father and" bonus mom"; Arthur "Bud" and Zelia VanHoose; mother-in-law; Ann (Mimi) L'Heureux, brothers; Bill Clark (Gloria), Sid Clark, Ron Clark (Kathy), Don Clark (Faye), Raymond Clark, Johnny Clark; in-laws; Mike L'Heurex (Ann), Cyndi Martz (Duane), Kathy L'Heureux and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, June 15th from 1-4PM at Tomahawk Hills Golf Course 17501 Midland Dr. Shawnee, Kansas.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers; please send donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl Memphis, TN 38105, to support Linda's love for children.
