Ms. Linda Roberts

Linda Lou Roberts, 74, of Kansas City, KS passed away on August 5, 2013 at Providence Place, Kansas City, Kansas surrounded by her children. She was born on September 19, 1938 in Marysville, KS to Wilfred and Mary Cohorst. She graduated from Marysville High School in 1956. She graduated from St. Margaret's School of Nursing in 1959. She entered into marriage with Charles E. Roberts Jr. on November 28, 1959. Linda was a private surgical nurse for Dr. Paul Carpenter for 35 years till his retirement. She was than a surgical nurse for Heart of America SurgiCenter for 13 years.
Linda was proceeded in death by her husband; Charles E. Roberts Jr., her parents; Wilfred & Mary Cohorst and her brother; Jerry Cohorst.
Linda is survived by her son Charles "Chuck" (Audrey) Roberts of Memphis, MO and daughter Donna Shumway of Ottawa, KS, grandchildren; Courtney Rinehart and Nick DeVaul, Amanda Rinehart, Skylar Rinehart, Leah Scott, Lance (Lauren) Smith and Loren Roberts, great grandchildren; Benjamin Scott, Maeghan Scott, Brennan Scott, Alexis DeVaul and Autumn DeVaul, siblings; Karen (Dean) Manson, Sandra (Ralph) Byrd, Roberta (Richard) Anthony, Jeanne (Paul) Cummings, Rosemary Cohorst and many nieces, nephews and friends.
