Catalino “Lino” Garcia, age 70 joined that OG (Original Gangster) party in the sky on December 4th, 2021. He was born on July 2, 1951, in Los Angeles California to Elvira and Gabriel Garcia.
Lino is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debra; his 8 children; Tony, Rosita, Rebecca, David, Diana, Gabriel, Jesse James, and Catalina; Daughter in law, Jennifer; son in law, TJ; as well as his 5 grandchildren; Joshua, Natalie, Aurelio, Josephine, and Lillian.
After coming to faith in Jesus Christ, he brought his family to Kansas City to provide the best life he could for them. He loved his family and strived to be a loving father despite losing his own father at the age of 10. His striving paid off, his kids would say he was a strict but loving and supporting father.
Lino lived “La Vida Loca” and had many passions. He loved his Mexican culture, cooked traditional Mexican foods, enjoyed lowrider cars, and listened to oldie but goodies music, especially BB King. His sense of humor, laugh and smile were infectious to all.
