LISA CAROL MILDENHALL
Lisa Carol Mildenhall, 49, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on February 9, 2011 at her home. Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 11th at 11:00 am at the Heritage United Methodist Church, 12850 Quivira Rd., Overland Park, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 10-11:00 am prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO., 64105.
Lisa was born May 1, 1961 in Sylva, North Carolina. She grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina where she attended McClintock Junior High, graduated from East Mecklenburg High School and attended East Carolina University. In addition to Charlotte, she also lived in Whiteville and Raleigh, North Carolina and, for the last 13 years, in Olathe, Kansas. Lisa was an active member of Park Road Moravian Church in Charlotte and more recently Heritage Methodist Church in Overland Park, where she assisted with nursery and a range of other youth activities. Lisa was very active in civic activities. She started a Mom’s Club in Gardner, North Carolina and another in Olathe, Kansas. She also enjoyed working with youth in Scouting as a Den Leader with Pack 3387 and assisting in many capacities at Meadow Lane and Woodlawn Primary School in Olathe. For the last three years, Lisa attended the Court Reporting Institute of Kansas City to become a court reporter. Lisa’s hobbies included scrapbooking and quilting. Her life and influence will be felt forever by all her family, friends and all she touched.
She is survived by her husband Geoff and her two sons Alexander and Harrison, her mother Barbara Davis, her father Bruce Moses, step mother Cathy Moses, her two brothers Ben and Brad, sister-in-law Danell Moses and her two nieces Sabine and Jade Moses.
