L. L. “Joe” Chance, 70, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2009.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Rosemary, children Joleen (Bob) Shields, Jon Chance, Janelle (David) Zehren, Jeff (Nancy) Chance , Jackie (Sam) Bursch, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held in at D W Newcomer’s Johnson County Chapel, Overland Park, KS on Friday, May 15, 2009, at 1:00 pm. A Celebration/Remembrance of Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Justin Thyme Café, 8544 Park Drive, Ralston, NE, from 3:00 – 5:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P O Box 11454, Alexandria, VA, 22312 or Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W 103rd, Overland Park, KS 66214.
