It is with deepest sadness that we announce the loss of Logan C. McCalmon, who passed away on Monday June 20th, 2016 in Huntington Beach, CA at the young age of 25.
Logan was predeceased by his Grandparents, Louis and Virginia Lange and his Uncle Jeffrey Lange.
Logan is survived by his Mother, Michele Lange Thompson, Step-Father, John G. Thompson, Father, Jeffrey A. McCalmon, Step-Mother, Kim H. McCalmon, Brothers, Tyler L. McCalmon and Reed J. McCalmon. Sister, Aubrey Langford. Sisters In-Law, Sarah McCalmon and Margy McCalmon. Brother In-Law, Scott Langford. Grandparents, Frank and Debbie McCalmon and Conk and Bonnie Buckley. Step-Grandmother, Marilyn Gilbert. Aunts and Uncles, Ron and Robin Chamberlain, Roger and Jill McCalmon, Steve and Sonya Lange. Step-Sisters, Abigail Kruenegel and husband Kevin. Katie Gritton and husband David. Molly and Kelly Hanrahan. 11 nieces and nephews and many cousins and close friends and his loving dogs Cali and Tucker.
We lost our son, brother, best friend, and most amazing young man that we will ever know. We know this disease of addiction all too well and to have it take someone so dear to us, is heartbreaking. Logan was a gentle giant who had an immeasurable heart. His compassion to help others who struggled will never be forgotten. We will miss his hilarious sense of humor, his infectious laughter, his everything...
He was the strongest brother out of us, yet this disease does not discriminate. It took our parents youngest son, youngest brother and an amazing uncle to our children. May he rest easy and be at peace now.
We will walk with you again our sweet Logan.
