MARTHA L. OHMART
Martha L. Ohmart, 81, passed away July 24, 2010 in Forth Worth. TX. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Wednesday, July 28 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. A funeral service will be 11 am, Thursday at the chapel. Interment in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Martha was a long time resident of Kansas City, KS and moved to Texas to live with
her daughter and son-in-law 2005.
While living in Kansas City she volunteered at Vista and when she moved to Texas she
Volunteered at Azle Community Center. She was the past President of the Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of Eagels.
Survivors include her children, Marsha Menges of Goodyear AZ; Charles Miller of Morganfield, KY; Vella Edwards of Azle, TX; and Wayne Willis of Little Rock AR. She is also survived by her brother, Mack Bleavins; sister, Vella Willis; step-children, Donnie Ohmart, Lynn Killian, Donna Allen, Richard Ohmart, Darlene Ohmart, John Miller, Orville Miller; 31 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a countless number of friends.
Martha had a big heart and never met a stranger. She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother and will be missed greatly.
