Lois P. Buller, of Overland Park, KS, lost her battle with cancer June 24, 2011. A memorial service will be held at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel 11200 Metcalf Ave. Overland Park, KS 66210 on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 12 pm with a gathering of friends and family one hour before the service. Donations to be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Mid-America Chapter or The Chronic Disease Fund.
Lois was born in Goodland, KS, August 20, 1931, the daughter of Helen and Guy Caldwell. She spent her early life in Newton, KS. She was married to Robert Buller for 53 years. She was a homemaker dedicated to taking care of her family. Lois enjoyed her time with family, friends, helping her daughter sell flowers at market, watching Royals baseball and Jayhawk basketball. Lois will be remembered fondly as a loving mother and grandmother. Her kind and generous nature will be missed by all.
Lois is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Buller; sister Evelyn Umholtz, and survived by children, Marcia Bailey and Mark Buller (Brenda); sisters Lavonne Prior, Darlene Smokorowski (Peter); brothers, Gary Caldwell (Melva), Darrell Caldwell (Marty); grandchildren, Justin Bailey (Jamie), Holly Lawrence (Mark); great grandchildren, Maguire and Hudson Lawrence.
