Lorene Carrell of Overland Park, KS passed away on 1/12/2009 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Visitation will be at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel at 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210 at noon on 1/15/2009. Memorial services will follow at 1pm.
Lorene was a bookkeeper by trade. She was born in Bartlesville, OK to Minnie E. and Paul P. Carroll. She was married to Billy H. Carrell & has 2 sons Billy L. Carrell of Prairie Village, KS & Robert P. Carrell of Madison, AL. One surviving sister Doris M. Stewart of Mount Vernon, WA. She has 3 grandchildren Matt Carrell, Emily Pickett & Brad Carrell, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Member of Southside Baptist Church & member of Easter Star Nova Chapter in KC & Easter Star Mary Lou Darcy Chapter of Decatur, AL. She served as Worthy Matron 3 times. She will be dearly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastern Star Beatrice Chapter at 11109 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203 or to Southside Baptist Church at 709 9th St. SE, Decatur, AL 35601.
