Loretta J. Trammell, age 85, of Olathe, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2011. She was born on October 29, 1925 in Cardin, OK, the daughter of Ella (Volner) and Spencer Linson. Loretta married Perry C. Trammell on December 12, 1943 in Colorado, they shared over 67 years of marriage together. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Olathe.
Survivors include her husband, Perry C. Trammell; daughter, Faith Sterling (Tony) of Gardner; son, Larry Trammell (Connie) of Olathe; granddaughter, Charity; grandsons, Joel Sterling, Sean Trammell, Bret Trammell and Brent Trammell; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 6, 2011 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Oaklawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The First Assembly of God Church, 27772 West 135th St, Olathe, KS 66061.
