LORNA MAXINE (JAMES) STOVER-DEWEESE, 81, Overland Park, KS passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at Specialty Hospital of Mid America.
She was born March 10, 1931 in Eldon, Missouri the daughter of Ronald and Ruby (Taylor) James.
Maxine is survived by two daughters, Patricia Herschberger (Kevin) and Carolyn Knight; five sisters, Shirley Gassoway (Carl), Irene Brown, Malinda James, Sharon Vaughn (Charlie) and Karen Booth (John); 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Keeney in 1974; an infant brother; and her second husband, Harvey Stover in 2002.
Graveside services and Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210.
