Lorraine Rudolph

Lorraine G. Rudolph passed away on January 9th, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 92. She is preceded by her husband William, son Daniel, and son-in-law Tony.

Lorraine was born November 28th, 1928 to Herbert and Anne Esther McCurry. She married the love of her life, William F. Rudolph on January 10th, 1953 -- they were reunited just in time to celebrate their first heavenly anniversary. She graduated from Paseo High School and was a member of the Heart of America Riding Club in 1947 and went on to received a blue ribbon in the Jumping Division in 1950.

Lorraine went to work for Trans World Airline in May 22nd, 1967 and retired November 29th, 1990. After her career, she became an active member of the Kansas City Garden Club. Being
outside in her flower garden brought her so much joy and she loved feeding her many bird visitors. She spent her later days watching Turner Classic Movies and the Hallmark Channel. On any day you could find her playing many hours of games on her computer, often in her PJ’s without her dentures!

Lorraine is survived by her children: Dennis (Beth), Frank, Theresa, Herbert (Misty), Monica (Rob), and Michael (Janette). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
