Louanna Strong

Louanna M. Strong, 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Prairie Village, Kansas on November 20, 2021. Lanna – otherwise known as ‘Nana’ by her many grandchildren – was born September 21, 1936, in Ava, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Doris Fleetwood, her brothers Ron and James Fleetwood, and her sister-in-law Phyllis Fleetwood.

Lanna loved playing golf, traveling to Palm Desert, California in the winter, and was a member of the Abdallah Shrine Wildcards. She had a devoted love for her family, friends and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all.

Lanna leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years, Dick W. Strong. As well as her two daughters, Kim Bosch (Eric), Melissa Drummond (Joseph); granddaughters Lauren Beal (Max) and Taylor Drummond; grandsons Tanner Bosch (Christy) and Parker Bosch (Maddy); great-granddaughter Avery Bosch, sister-in-law’s Sue Haden (Jack), Alice Fleetwood and many other family members that loved her dearly.

Private family services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association or Kansas City Hospice.
