Louise Bird

Louise Moll Bird, 92, Olathe, Kansas passed Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 27, 2010 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 900 S. Honeysuckle Dr., Olathe, Kansas 66061. A visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 A.M. and a rosary at 10:30 A.M., Monday morning, also at the church. Interment will take place Thursday, December 30, 2010 in Restland Cemetery, Richardson, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Odyssey Hospice or Parkinson’s Foundation. Louise was born May 24, 1918 in Olathe, Kansas. Prior to moving back to Olathe 5 years ago, she and Randall, her husband of over 50 years, resided in Richardson, Texas. She devoted her life to being a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall; and several sisters and brothers. She is survived by two sisters, Gertrude Moll and Martha Moll; sister-in-law, Marge Moll; five children, Carol Rathbun and husband Jerry, James Bird and wife Julie, Shirley Goode and husband Gene, John Bird and wife Janette, Susie Bird Russell and fiancé James; son-in-law Steve Russell; 10 grandchildren, Michele Rathbun, Mike Rathbun (Dana), Jeff Bird (Lalitha), Janette Foster (Bart), Bryan Goode (Lindsay), Jamie Miller (Brandon), Chris Bird (Jennifer), Chad Russell (Holly), Adam Russell, Samantha Russell; 9 great grandchildren; and many loving friends.
