Louise Audrey Voth, 98, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023.
Born in Olsburg, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Harriet Wells. She was a graduate of Kansas State University, majoring in Home Economics. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.
On graduation, she moved to Kansas City where she worked as a laboratory medical technologist. This is where she met her husband, Harold Voth, M.D. They were married for 61 years before his passing in 2015.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She took pride in caring for her family and served the community through her P.E.O. Chapter FN of Mission, Kansas and as a volunteer for the Auxiliary of St. Luke’s Hospital.
She loved watching Kansas sports teams, especially the Kansas State Wildcats.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Voth, M.D., and siblings Donald Wells, Maxine Collings and Norma Rossi. Surviving are her son, Bill Voth and his wife Laura LaSpalluto; daughter, Anne Voth and her husband Steve Spear; Lisa Jackson and her husband Bill Jackson and grandchildren Lindsay, Trevor and Courtney Jackson. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 10 am at Old Mission United Methodist Church (5519 State Park Road, Fairway, KS) followed by a memorial service at 11 am.
