Lucille Kreamer

Lucille F. Kreamer, age 87, of Olathe passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011 surrounded by her two children. She was born on October 13, 1923 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Florence (Peck) and Anton Carlson. She graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College and was a member of the Phi Beta Phi Sorority, having been a faithful and active member. Lucille was an avid golfer, enjoyed cooking and entertaining for family and friends. Lucille married Glenn C. Kreamer on March 16, 1957 in KC, MO; he preceded her in death on September 19, 1998.
Survivors include her son, Mike (Kathy) Kreamer of Flower Mound, TX; daughter, Kathy Kreamer of Overland Park, KS; two grandsons, Mark and Chris Kreamer, both of TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Tony Carlson.
Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 11, with visitation from 5:00-6:00, at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Burial will be held in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society, 6700 Antioch, Overland Park, KS, 66204.
