LuEtta Verlyn (Oglevie) Fisher, age 85, passed away July 13, 2014 in Peoria, Arizona. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday, July 21, 2014 also at the Johnson County Chapel. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
LuEtta was born in Edith, Oklahoma on May 14, 1929 to Jesse Carrol and Agnes Belle (Amend) Oglevie.
LuEtta was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William Marion Fisher, 2 sisters Retha Massman and LaVesta Massman and her brother Vergil Oglevie. Survivors include her 3 children; Philip L. (Nancy) Fisher, Douglas A. Fisher and Suzette M. Fisher, sister Ardyce (Joe) Huston, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
