Mr. Luther Brewer

Luther Brewer, formerly of Drexel, MO and Olathe, KS, passed away at his home in Daytona Beach, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Geneva Brewer; 5 brothers: Kenneth, Harrison, Arthur, Marion, and Virgil.
Surviving are his wife Lou, of the home; daughter Diana Colvard and husband Ed, daughter Brenda Abbott and husband David; step-son Jeff Sherman and wife Christa, step-son Garret Sherman; one grandson Jake; four granddaughters: Jillian, Monica, Hillary, and Mirinda; one great-grandson, Dawson and two sisters: Maxine and Onieta; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services are Sun. August 1st, 1:00 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel , 11200 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS. Burial following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Central Auto Racing Boosters, 17580 Stubbs Station Rd., Platte City, MO 64079.
