Macy Grace Lindsted was born on March 29th, 2023 and passed away on March 20th, 2024. She had multiple medical complications and underwent several surgeries in her short lifetime. Macy was nothing short of a miracle! She showed us from the beginning of time how much of a fighter she was and all of the odds and statistics that were stacked against her. Macy lived a full life. She knew love, joy and peace. We prayed over her, sang to her and read Bible stories to her. She saw us, heard us, and responded to us. For such a little one, she was so strong in her fight. Her personality was a bright light to us and countless others. God’s hand was over Macy’s life throughout this whole journey. Despite our faith and trust in Jesus, it doesn’t mean that we’re not still heartbroken and grieving. But trusting in the Lord has provided immense comfort in this difficult time. Our faith and trust has become stronger, and we pray that it continues, especially through the sharing of Macy’s story.
What a blessing it was to get to know Macy Grace in almost a year’s worth of time that feels so short and so long at the same time. What a blessing it is to be Macy’s parents. Macy Grace will always be a sweet reminder of God’s Amazing Grace.
Layne and I hope and pray that we can be the Light of Christ and help those going through hard times. God loves you, He is so good, all the time. All glory be to God, Amen!
With Love, Layne and Lauren Lindsted
