Madison Januszewski

April 6, 1999 — July 9, 2018

Madison was a bright, beautiful, witty and strong willed young lady.  She made friends very easily and no one was ever a stranger.  She was an excellent athlete and participated in many sports growing up.  She excelled at swimming, soccer, lacrosse and cross country.  Madison was motivated to be the best at everything she put her heart and soul into.  Her attitude was an “all or nothing, go big or go home” kind of girl.  She loved playing jokes on people and coming up with silly things to do to keep life interesting and exciting.  Madison was often the class clown in school and had a way of making people laugh like no other.    Her beautiful smile and goofy laugh were so contagious, that when she walked into a room, you knew the fun was about to begin.

Madison had many favorite vacation spots that she enjoyed throughout her life. She loved the beaches of Mexico, boogie boarding, snorkeling and burying her siblings in the sand.  She loved the mountains of Colorado where she learned to ski at the age of 3. She took several trips to “the most magical place on earth” Disneyworld with her parents and her grandparents. She loved traveling to new cities. Some of her favorites were Chicago, Boston and NYC. Summer vacations, and an occasional Winter, were spent at the family cabin in the Northwoods of Wisconsin where she loved to fish, swim at the sand bar, and ride ATVs.

Among the many passions Madison had, one of the biggest was her love of animals.  You never knew when she was going to show up with another rescue cat to add to her growing menagerie.  We all had a vision of her growing old and becoming that “crazy” cat lady we all hear about.  She wanted a house full and was well on her way.

We are all very saddened by her young life cut all too short.  Heaven has gained another precious soul all too soon.  She was loved by so many friends and family and will be so greatly missed.  She may be gone from Earth, but her spirit will remain with all of us and in all that we do.  We love you so much Madison.  You were truly “one of a kind”.
