Mae Evelyn (McInturf) Findell, age 97, of Lenexa, KS passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012. She was born August 19, 1914 in Carrollton, Washington, the daughter of Ella (Gimple) and Harry McInturf. She was raised in Ringold, Washington and attended Kinman Business University in Spokane, Washington. She was employed as a private secretary by a number of private businesses as well as Government agencies and retired in 1980.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis (Dawn) Findell and Robert Eugene (Rebecca) Findell; granddaughter, Nichole (Trey) Hilt. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Ella McInturf; her husband, Robert Elmer; son, Terry; brothers, Glen and Melvin; sisters, Alice Rowell and Florence Moedler.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at D. W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be held from 12:30-2:00 PM the same day. Inurnment will be held in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens at a later date.
